I particularly liked that Zoë worked with me as a whole, looking not only at the physical level but also the emotional. I learned techniques to try and help me manage pain, learning a new way of thinking about pain. This has been enormously helpful. I also find that I am doing everyday things in a more mindful way – I am present in the moment… Yoga has brought me a level of inner peace – things that used to bother me I can now put into perspective just by using visualisation, relaxation and meditation techniques.
